Amount discount

You can let customers redeem their points for an "Amount off" discount which gives them a fixed amount off the order total.

There are two types of amount discounts:

• Fixed number of points: Customer gets an amount discount for a fixed number of point. Eg.: $5 off discount for 100 points
• Custom number of points: Customer can select the number of points to spend and the discount they'll receive for them. For example: you can set a customer number of points discount where for every 10 points the customer gets $1 off. In this case if the customer has 100 points they can decide the number of points they want to redeem for a discount - if they redeem 50 points they'll get $5 off, if they redeem 100 points they'll get $10 off

Setting up a Fixed number of points amount discount

1. Go the the "Loyalty program" page in the app
2. In the "Ways to redeem" section click "Add way to redeem" button and select "Amount discount" from the list

3. Set the "Reward title" which will be visible on the storefront. You should put the exact discount amount in the reward title, eg.: $5 off discount
4. In the "Set reward" section select "Fixed number of points"
5. In the "For X points" field specify the number of points the customer needs to spend for the discount
6. In the "Customer gets X discount" field specify the discount amount they will get

8. Save the changes

Setting up a Custom number of points amount discount

1. Go the the "Loyalty program" page in the app
2. In the "Ways to redeem" section click "Add way to redeem" button and select "Amount discount" from the list

3. Set the "Reward title" which will be visible on the storefront.
4. In the "Set reward" section select "Custom number of points"
5. In the "For every X points" field specify the increment of points the customer can choose to spend for the discount
6. In the "Customer gets X discount" field specify the discount amount they will get for each increment of points they spend

8. Save the changes

Optional settings:

• **Set minimum number of points: **You can specify the minimum amount of points a customer needs to spend
• Set maximum number of points: You can specify the maximum amount of points a customer can spend

Additional settings

On the reward edit page on the right you can set the following details for the reward:

• Minimum order value: If set the discount will only be applied above the total order value provided
• Reward expiry: If set once the discount is redeemed it will expiry after the number of days provided
• Combine with other discounts: You can select whether the customer can combine the discount with other discounts like order or product discounts. By default the discount can't be combined with other discounts
