Creating a Paid membership product
Overview
This article walks you through creating a paid membership product and configuring how it works in your store. It covers enabling paid memberships and managing membership pricing.
Step 1: Create the membership product in Shopify
- Start by creating a new product in your Shopify admin.

- Set the product price to match the membership price you want customers to pay.

- Make sure the product is marked as “Not a physical product”, since memberships do not require shipping.

Step 2: Add the product in Love Loyalty
Once the membership product is created, head to the Love Loyalty app and navigate to Paid Memberships section and add this product as your paid membership later you choose the billing interval and set the price same as the product price, add the benefits included in the membership, and control its visibility on the storefront.

Step 3: Configure purchase options
In the product settings in Shopify, review the purchase options:
- Enable “Only sell it with this purchase option” if the membership should only be sold online.
- If you want to sell the membership at POS as well, leave this option unchecked.
