Show Love Loyalty in AMP cart drawer

Overview

Show loyalty points and rewards in the AMP Cart to encourage point redemption and increase order value. Customers see their point balance and available rewards above the cart footer, and they can apply a reward before they pay.

Showing redemption in the drawer:

Puts the point balance in front of customers while they review the cart
Lets them redeem a reward in the same place they check out
Encourages customers to spend points on the order they are placing, which can raise order value

1. Enable the Love Loyalty app embed

Point redemption in the cart is shown by the Love Loyalty app embed.

Open the theme editor.
On the top left, click the App embed icon.
Enable the Love Loyalty app embed.

2. Add the AMP Cart selector

Love Loyalty shows the widget above the element named in App embed placement. In the AMP cart drawer, that element is the cart footer.

In Love Loyalty, open Customize storefront.
Click Customize on the Cart: Earn and redeem points card.
In App embed placement, enter .slidecarthq > footer.
Save.
Open the storefront and open the AMP cart drawer. Confirm the point balance and rewards appear above the cart footer.

Keep the dot at the start of the selector. The field should contain .slidecarthq > footer.
