# How to manually add points to customers?


### Add points manually to a single customer

1. In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
2. On the Customers page search for the customer you want to add points to

3. Click the name of the customer and then adjust their available point balance in the "Loyalty program points" metafield

4. Save the changes

### Add points to customers in bulk

1. In the Shopify admin go to "Customers"
2. Select the customers where you want to add points to

3. Click "Bulk edit" on the top right
4. In the bulk editor click "Columns" on the top right and select the "Loyalty program points" metafield

5. Adjust the point balances in bulk
6. Save the changes
